Oscar-winner, Angelina Jolie, recently wrapped up a two-day trip to a refugee camp in eastern Chad housing refugees from Sudan’s war-torn Darfur region, praising humanitarian workers for their tireless efforts in providing assistance while calling for more aid to those in need.
Angie hopes her visit will help focus the world’s attention on the war in Darfur and the plight of the refugees. “If I can draw you in a little because I’m familiar, then that’s great. As long as [you] end up looking at them, that’s the point.” — Angelina Jolie on the power of celebrity.
