Real-life plastic dolls Heidi Montag and her boyfriend Spencer Pratt turned up on The Late Show With David Letterman in New York City on Wednesday, and didn’t they look awful lovely? In a Barbie and Ken sort of way.

Meanwhile, Miss Montag has voiced her defense for Miley Cyrus after her risqué Vanity Fair photoshoot caused a media uproar.

“I think she’s a young girl in Hollywood, and she’s just having fun,” Montag said. “[She]‘s exploring herself.”

Always ready to offer his two cents, Spencer chimed in, saying: “I didn’t think it was that bad. Supposedly, she’s wearing a top underneath. It’s artistic.”
