Hilary Swank joined co-star Patrick Dempsey for the premiere of ‘Freedom Writers’ in Los Angeles friday night.

The film is based on the true story of teenagers after the LA riots of 1992. Hilary plays a young teacher who attempts to show her class of notorious students the true value of respect.
