Jennifer Lopez received an award for her work as producer and star of a film examining the ongoing murders of hundreds of women in a Mexican border town. Lopez received the “Artists for Amnesty” award 2/14 at the Berlin Film Festival.

In the film, Lopez plays a reporter investigating the murder of over 400 women and girls in a Mexican border city.
