Jessica Simpson played her first country concert on Saturday night at the “Country Thunder” festival in Randall, Wisconsin.

Coming on stage to a mixture of cheers and boos, Simpson covered songs from Willie Nelson, Nancy Sinatra, and Shania Twain, while also singing a few of her pop hits.

But despite looking the part, her singing failed to capture the imagination and her audience were quick to let her know. Jessica recently revealed she wants to make country music for “the rest” of her life.
