Lindsay Lohan was involved in some sort of accident yesterday after hitting a paparazzi while trying to drive away from New York club Butter.

s the photographer moaned and growled on the ground, Lindsay was taken away by bodyguards or whatever. She was escorted into an SUV.

Lohan and her entourage then sped off to escape the photographers chasing her, and when the vehicle she was a passenger in drove the wrong way up a one-way street, the paparazzi followed and two photographers were pulled over by police and cited.

An ambulance arrived to take the photographer to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for a bruised knee, then released.

Lindsay reportedly returned to the scene of the accident an hour later.
