Paris Hilton has kept her promise to do more charity work by attending the 4th annual “Night By the Ocean” gala auction in aid of the “Life Rolls On” spinal injuries charity and she bid (and won) a $17,500 surfing lesson with the charity’s founder, former pro-surfer Jesse Billauer.

The hotel heiress insisted she had turned over a new leaf when she left jail for drink driving charges and wanted to help more people.
