Paris Hilton has kept her promise to do more charity work by attending the 4th annual “Night By the Ocean” gala auction in aid of the “Life Rolls On” spinal injuries charity and she bid (and won) a $17,500 surfing lesson with the charity’s founder, former pro-surfer Jesse Billauer.

The hotel heiress insisted she had turned over a new leaf when she left jail for drink driving charges and wanted to help more people.
