Katie Holmes fall in love with Tom Cruise at first sight when she met him. The 28-year-old actress fell for husband Tom during their first handshake and then was further wooed by a motorcycle ride.

Katie said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “Our first date was in Los Angeles – it was also my first motorcycle ride to the beach. It was amazing and fast. I was in love from the moment I shook his hand for the first time.”

Katie – who has a daughter, Suri, with Tom – added: “I feel very lucky. I have a husband and baby that I adore. I have a career I really love. When I sit back and reflect, it’s, like, wow! I am very grateful. Tom makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and has since the day I met him. I love being with him. I love calling him my husband.”

Tom and Katie flew to South Beach to check out J Lo and Marc perform together at a Pre-Super Bowl party on Saturday in Miami thrown by Ocean Drive Magazine.
