Ugly Betty co-star Vanessa Williams received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this morning (March 19th) in Los Angeles, a day after her 44th birthday, as the first black Miss America is honored for her career as an actress and singer.

The singer and former Miss America is the 2,331st person to receive the sidewalk honor, and she’ll celebrate the milestone with family, friends. Williams’ star is located in front of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, home of swanky parties and celebrity sightings.
