Kirsten Dunst says director Sofia Coppola is her role model.
Kirsten – who has worked with the filmmaker on two films, ‘The Virgin Suicides’ and ‘Marie Antoinette’ – says Sofia, the daughter of legendary director Francis Ford Coppola, is one of the most inspiring people she has ever met.
She said: “Sofia is someone who has influenced me in a huge way by the way she lives and what she likes. We have similar tastes and it is nice to have a friend you can relate to. She gets what I am going through and has similar perspective on things.”
Kirsten also admits that now she has turned 24 she has finally learned how to be confident.
She said: “I used to be much more of a people pleaser, scared of upsetting other people. I guess I’m getting less afraid of life now.”
