The stunning Oscar-winning actress, Charlize Theron is on hand to promote Paul Haggis’ ‘In the Valley of Elah,’ which focuses on the psychological scars that haunt returning soldiers from Iraq and provides a powerful commentary on how society is treating veterans and their families.

Charlize told press, ““Nothing would give me more joy than to see them (the troops) back in America. They are doing a very, very important job and it’s a dangerous one. Hopefully they can come back and be looked after, that’s the least we can do for them.”

Spies outside downtown eatery La Esquina saw the star “putting on a show . . . catwalking in front of the restaurant.” One bystander asked, “What’s wrong with her?” Another told Page Six, “She was doing that walk for almost five minutes.”
