Jennifer Lopez has completed her first triathlon in Malibu, California just seven months after giving birth to twins.

Raising her arms in the air as a victory, J. Lo smiled as she crossed the finish line after swimming, biking and running. “Thank you guys so much. This is an amazing day,” she told event onlookers.

About her triathlon plans, she had this to say: “It actually came up when I was about 8 months pregnant and I was beached like a whale. I was watching TV and I saw a triathlon and I said, ‘You know what? I think I could do that, that would be great for me to do. Maybe I’ll do it this year.’ ”

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony had to leave their newborn twins at home when they attended the Costume Institute Gala last night, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t thinking about Max and Emme.

“They’re missing us!” Anthony said and when asked how they were doing, Lopez said the babies were “fantastic.”
