Mum-to-be-soon, Nicole Kidman was spotted at a photocall today for her movie “The Golden Compass” in Japan.

Nicole stepped out in an avant-garde black semi-see-through dress with furry-fluffy shoulder accents and the beginnings of a cute baby bump.

40-year-old Nicole Kidman has shot down rumors that she’s had plastic surgery. She claims she’s completely natural in the face.

“To be honest, I am completely natural,” Kidman recently told Marie Claire magazine, adding, “I have nothing in my face or anything. I wear sunscreen, and I don’t smoke. I take care of myself. And I’m very proud to say that.”

And while Kidman has not had anything done herself, she says she does not judge people who have had plastic surgery. “Anybody can do anything to themselves, their bodies,” she tells.

It was a night filled with lots of emotion and little surprise at last night’s 79th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles.

Helen Mirren and Forest Whitaker were the worthy recipients of the Best Actor statues, with Mirren thanking the Academy for “biggest and the best gold star that I have ever had in my life” and a visibly moved Whitaker, who played Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland, thanking everyone from his ancestors to the people of Uganda.

But perhaps the happiest person in the room was The Departed director Martin Scorsese. The mob drama won four awards, including Best Picture and Best Director for Scorsese, who had been nominated – and lost – five times before.
