Shakira Help Kick off Live Earth |
Last Saturday, Colombian singer Shakira might have done her bit to help raise awareness about global warming by performing at the Live Earth 24-hour concert in Hamburg, Germany.
But shocking her fans, curvy Shakira stepped onstage minus her trademark curly hair which she had had straightened, casting a palpable ‘global cooling ‘ – at least among hardcore Shakira fans worldwide that is. So, has the new and straight Shakira become less hotter than we would like her to be?

The hip shaking Colombian sensation, Shakira, has joined an already star-studded lineup for the July 7, 2007 concert.
“Live Earth”, which is staging concerts in New York, London, Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg and Hamburg, will bring an estimated 2 billion people together in an effort to combat global warming.

Shakira made a personal appearance Wednesday to personally sign off on a one-shot version of Spanish carmaker S.E.A.T.’s Leon Cupra. She made a splash appearance at the 77th annual auto show, which is famous for concept cars new models from global automakers than any other auto shows.
SEAT, which is owned by Germany’s Volkswagen AG, is sponsoring her current European tour.
The singer autographed the hood on a Leon Pies Descalzo model based on the company’s Leon Cupra, painted metallic lilac.

Latina pop star Shakira can’t wait to get home after the European leg of her Oral Fixation tour – because she finds the continent too cold.
The Hips Don’t Lie hitmaker insists she’s enjoyed meeting with people from cultures so different to her own, but can’t stand the winter’s freezing temperatures.
She says, “It is fantastic to connect with so many people on this tour. I’ve learned so much about this continent and its people but it is freezing. I do expect to have a lot of fun on stage though, just like I did last night.”
