MISS USA 2007 hopefuls gathered on Monday in Hollywood for the annual swimsuit photo shoot before competing for controversial Tara Conner’s crown to be the next Miss USA
Current Miss USA Tara Conner stood out from the group, arriving in a leopard-print bathrobe and a black bikini.
The Miss USA 2007 pageant is now just days away. This year it will take place in Los Angeles on March 23.

The 21- year old Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner got involved into “Trump on the Ocean” advertising campaign.
Donald Trump has recently announced his plans to build a $40-million restaurant (!), to be named Trump on the Ocean, on the boardwalk at Jones Beach State Park. The land will be leased from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
Previously addicted to drugs and alcohol Tara Conner has recently claimed that she still feels the occasional cravings for alcohol and drugs. The only difference is that she now has the strength to overcome her desire.
The Kentucky beauty, after spending 28 days in rehab, has realised that if she put the chemical in her body, it was going to take her to the past that she doesn’t want to revisit.

Miss USA Tara Conner to talk with The Today Show’s Matt Lauer in her first interview since checking out of rehab. She admits, “I have done cocaine, yeah. I’ve tried several different things. But, you know, it’s always the same effect. The more that I get it off my chest, the better I feel about myself. It’s not healthy for my recovery to sit here and hold things back.”
In the latest issue of People, Conner said, “Cocaine was one of the drugs that I did use. It’s hard to look back at that. I was an equal-opportunity [user] – I would try anything once… And I would talk to more than one guy at once – it doesn’t mean that I was sexually active with every one of these people.”

Miss USA Tara Conner, who had come under criticism amid rumors she had been frequenting bars while underage, will be allowed to keep her title, Donald Trump announced yesterday.
“I’ve always been a believer in second chances,” Trump, who owns the Miss Universe Organization with NBC, said with Conner at his side. He said he and Conner met earlier yesterday morning.
“I’ve always been a believer in second chances. Tara is a good person. Tara has tried hard. Tara is going to be given a second chance,” Trump said at a press conference, referring to allegations of Conner’s drug use, underage drinking and sexual indiscretions.
Trump said Conner made some “very, very bad choices” as she left a small town in Kentucky, getting “caught up in the whirlwind of New York,” and added that she would be entering rehab.

BEING a wild child can be career suicide for beauty queens, and Tara Conner, Miss USA in the Miss Universe pageant, is learning that lesson the hard way.
Donald Trump, who owns both contests, is expected to tell the Kentucky girl whether she will have her title stripped this week after a series of ‘’behavioural'’ problems. He said Conner was ‘’going through some personal problems and difficulties right now which could affect her ability to reign'’.
Trump has already told her to pack her bags and move out of her Trump Plaza apartment in Atlantic City, New Jersey. A doorman at the posh property said: “She does not live here any more. She is not allowed on Trump property. “I don’t think it was her choice, really.'’
When she won the crown, Conner criticised pop stars like Britney Spears as being too wild and racy.
